As a rogue, you will occasionally find yourself needing to be both unnoticed and mobile. The stealth skill improves on the hide skill by granting this much desired mobility. While stealthy, you will be much more difficult for others to detect you, allowing you to perform any nefarious actions you have planned, as long as you don't draw too much attention to yourself. Keep in mind that packing light will allow you to more easily maintain a stealthy state.
